New Patient Intake Evaluation
60 minutes
During your initial appointment at Bright Star IP, I will conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand your unique needs fully. This evaluation is a crucial first step towards developing a personalized treatment plan to support your mental health and well-being. My focus is on providing holistic and integrative care to enable your mind and body to achieve an optimal state of wellness. I look forward to partnering with you and helping you achieve your goals!
Short Follow Up
20-25 minutes
This appointment is for those seeking medication management services and/or talk therapy.
Long Follow Up
30-45 minutes
This appointment is best suited for interested in weekly psychotherapy. I use a cognitive behavioral therapy approach which has been found to be the most effective form of therapy for many different mental concerns, in multiple peer-reviewed studies.

Genomic Evaluation & Consultation
30 minutes
Genomic consultation and testing offers valuable insights into an individual's genetic makeup, aiding in personalized treatment plans for mental health conditions. By analyzing specific genetic markers, I can better understand how the body processes medications and identify potential risks for certain disorders. This cutting-edge approach allows for more targeted interventions, maximizing the effectiveness of treatment while minimizing adverse effects. Clinical Services Between Appointments
Clinical services provided between appointments (e.g. phone calls with family members or other providers, letters or forms, transfer of records) are billed at the rate of $50 per 10 minute increment.
Off Hours Appointments
My normal business hours are Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm. However, if you need an appointment outside of those hours, such as late night or weekend hours, I may be able to accommodate your request. Message me via the patient portal to request an off hours appointment. Appointments that fall outside of normal business hours will incur an “off hours fee” that will not be covered by health insurance.
